Up to date research has shown that wounds heal best in a moist environment and also, it would be impossible to keep the perineal area 'dry' due to vaginal bleeding following birth. Spritz for Bits can be applied as often as needed as the wound has been closed with stitches and the sanitary pad that is worn will absorb any vaginal bleeding whilst still allowing the essential oils and witch hazel to work their magic. After bathing gently pat the perineal area dry with tissue or cotton pads, apply the Spritz for Bits and sanitary pads as normal.
